The Polar Blue Parrot is a uniquely striking hybrid cichlid with a rounded body, beak-like mouth, and shimmering pale blue coloration with iridescent scales. It combines the vibrant appearance of the Blood Parrot with the hardiness and personality of the Convict Cichlid. Despite its bold look, the Polar Blue Parrot is generally peaceful, especially when kept in a spacious aquarium with suitable tank mates. These cichlids are intelligent, interactive, and can recognize their keepers, making them a favorite for aquarists who enjoy fish with personality.

• Recommended For: Semi-aggressive or peaceful cichlid aquariums

• Minimum Tank Size: 150 litres

• Temperature Range: 24–28°C

• pH Range: 6.5–7.5

• Recommended School Size: Can be kept singly, in pairs, or in small groups

• Compatibility: Semi-aggressive; best with similarly sized or robust species

• Max Size: 10-15cm
