Cuckoo Synodontis (Synodontis multipunctatus)
The Cuckoo Synodontis is a unique and fascinating catfish species native to the Congo River in Africa. Known for its striking pattern of dark spots on a light base and its spiny, armored body, this nocturnal fish is both beautiful and intriguing. The Cuckoo Synodontis is a peaceful yet territorial species, and it can be quite active at night, hiding in crevices or beneath rocks during the day. It is an excellent choice for aquarists who enjoy observing unusual behaviors and adding an exotic touch to their aquarium. Due to its nocturnal nature, it’s best kept with other peaceful, non-aggressive fish that aren’t too small.
