Buenos Aires Tetra (Hyphessobrycon anisitsi) A hardy, active schooling fish with shimmering silver scales and splashes of red, great for community tanks
The Buenos Aires Tetra is a lively and durable freshwater species known for its silver body with subtle greenish hues and bright red fins. These active swimmers do well in community aquariums, bringing constant motion and energy to midwater levels. While generally peaceful, they can be fin-nippers if kept in too small of a group, so it’s best to maintain a proper school. Adaptable and easy to care for, they’re a great choice for beginners looking for a robust schooling fish.
