The Calico Bristlenose – Large is a highly sought-after variation of the classic bristlenose pleco, displaying a beautiful mix of orange, brown, and dark mottled patterning across its body and fins. At a larger size, males develop pronounced facial bristles, giving them extra character and presence in the aquarium.

Known for their excellent algae-grazing ability, bristlenose plecos are a practical and attractive addition to tropical community tanks. They appreciate driftwood for grazing, shaded hiding spots, and stable, well-oxygenated water.
