The Electric Blue Jack Dempsey is a breathtaking colour variant of the classic Jack Dempsey cichlid, featuring intense metallic blue colouration that shimmers under aquarium lighting. Its glowing electric-blue body and speckled finnage make it one of the most eye-catching centrepiece fish in the hobby.

Despite being slightly less aggressive than standard Jack Dempseys, this species still requires carefully selected tankmates and plenty of space. Best suited to larger aquariums with strong filtration, driftwood, rocks, and open swimming areas. With the right setup, the Electric Blue Jack Dempsey becomes a bold and interactive showpiece fish.
