The Leopard Ctenopoma, also known as the Leopard Bush Fish, is a unique and eye-catching species featuring a golden-brown body covered in dark leopard-like spots. Its laterally compressed shape and camouflage pattern allow it to blend effortlessly into planted aquariums and driftwood-heavy setups.

Native to slow-moving African waters, this species is a patient ambush predator. While generally calm and slow-moving, it will consume smaller tankmates that fit in its mouth. Best suited to larger aquariums with subdued lighting, plant cover, and plenty of structure, the Leopard Ctenopoma makes an impressive and unusual centrepiece fish.
