Medusa Pleco L34 (Pterygoplichthys gibbosus)

The Medusa Pleco L34 is a striking and fascinating species of freshwater pleco, known for its unique appearance, which features long, spiny fins and a textured body. This species is peaceful but can grow to be quite large, making it better suited for larger aquariums. Medusa Plecos are nocturnal and will spend most of the day hiding in caves or among decorations. They are excellent algae eaters, helping to keep the tank clean, and enjoy a well-established aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and driftwood to rasp on.

• Minimum Tank Size: 150 litres

• Temperature Range: 24-28°C

• pH Range: 6.5-7.5

• Recommended School Size: Can be kept singly or in pairs

• Compatibility: Peaceful; best with other non-aggressive fish
