Orange Thick Lipped Gourami

A hardy gourami with warm orange tones and a calm, easygoing temperament

The Orange Thick Lipped Gourami is a beautiful and reliable species featuring soft orange to copper colouration, often accented with subtle blue iridescence in the fins. Its slightly thicker lips give it a distinct look, while its peaceful nature makes it an excellent choice for community aquariums.

More robust than dwarf gouramis, this species is well suited to planted tanks with gentle flow, floating plants, and plenty of cover. It brings a relaxed presence to the aquarium and mixes well with other calm species. A great option for aquarists wanting colour without aggression.
