Panda Corydora

Panda Corydoras (Corydoras panda) are small and charming catfish that have become quite popular in the aquarium hobby due to there contrasting black and white colour sure to look good on any colour substrate.

Size:
These catfish are relatively small, reaching a size of around 1.5 to 2 inches (3.8 to 5 cm) in length.

Tank Setup
Provide a well-planted aquarium with a soft substrate, such as sand. Like other Corydoras species, Pandas have sensitive barbels, and a smooth substrate helps prevent damage. Include hiding spots like caves or plants.

Social Behavior
Keep them in groups of at least six individuals. Panda Corydoras are social fish that thrive in the company of their own kind. They display interesting behaviors when kept in a group.

Diet
Panda Corydoras are omnivores. Offer a balanced diet that includes high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, or daphnia.

Water Parameters
They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water conditions. Maintain a temperature range of 22-26°C. Regular partial water changes are essential to ensure good water quality.

Compatibility
Panda Corydoras are peaceful and can be kept with a variety of community fish. They are suitable for community aquariums with other non-aggressive species.

Panda Corydoras are excellent additions to community aquariums, bringing both visual appeal and contributing to the overall health of the tank by scavenging and cleaning the substrate.
