The Gardneri Killifish is one of the most popular killifish species in the aquarium hobby, loved for its brilliant blue and red patterning and graceful, elongated fins. Males are especially striking with intense coloration, while females are more muted but equally elegant. Hardy and adaptable, Gardneri Killifish thrive in well-planted aquariums with gentle filtration and plenty of hiding spots. They’re peaceful but can be lively, making them a great choice for both species-only tanks and calm community setups.

• Recommended School Size: Best kept as pairs or trios (1 male with 1–2 females)
