Albino Bichir (Polypterus senegalus – Albino Variant) A rare and prehistoric-looking fish with stunning creamy-white coloration and loads of personality
The Albino Bichir is a striking color morph of the Senegal Bichir, featuring a creamy white to pinkish body and bright red eyes. Known for its eel-like body, armored scales, and unique ability to breathe atmospheric air, this species is both hardy and fascinating to watch. A bottom-dwelling predator, it requires a spacious aquarium with a secure lid, as Bichirs are skilled jumpers. Best kept by experienced aquarists, the Albino Bichir is peaceful toward tankmates too large to swallow and makes an impressive showpiece in oddball or predatory setups.
