The Albino Spotted Hoplo Catfish is a tough and active freshwater catfish known for its creamy-gold body, pinkish fins, and subtle spotted patterning. This albino variant retains the charming, armoured appearance of the standard Hoplo while offering a brighter, more eye-catching look.

Peaceful and highly adaptable, Hoplos are excellent additions to larger community aquariums. They are energetic bottom-dwellers that appreciate open swimming space as well as hiding spots among driftwood and plants. Unlike many catfish, they are active during the day and full of personality, often seen cruising the tank and foraging through the substrate.
