Hygrophila Corymbosa is a fast-growing stem plant that is perfect for adding height, structure, and fresh green growth to planted aquariums. It is a reliable background plant that grows well in a wide range of aquarium setups, making it a great option for both beginners and experienced aquascapers.
Supplied as a tissue culture, this plant arrives clean, pest-free, algae-free, and snail-free — making it ideal for aquascapers who want healthy plants without introducing unwanted hitchhikers into their aquarium.
Why it belongs in your tank
- Fast-growing background plant – great for filling space and creating height
- Easy and reliable – suitable for low tech planted aquariums and community tanks
- Fresh green colour – adds a natural, healthy look to your aquascape
- Tissue culture quality – clean, sterile, and free from pests, algae, and snails
- Helps with aquarium balance – fast plant growth can assist with nutrient uptake
How to use it
Rinse off the tissue culture gel thoroughly, divide the plant into smaller portions, and plant each stem into the substrate using aquascaping tweezers. Leave a little space between each portion so the stems have room to grow and spread.
Hygrophila Corymbosa will benefit from good aquarium lighting, regular fertiliser, and a nutrient-rich substrate, but it does not require high tech equipment to grow well. Trim regularly to keep it bushy and replant healthy cuttings to create a fuller background.
If you want an easy, fast-growing aquarium plant that quickly adds height and greenery to your planted tank, Hygrophila Corymbosa is a strong choice.
