Hygrophila Rosanervig Sunset is a striking stem plant known for its pink, orange, and green tones with bold lighter veins through the leaves. It is a fantastic choice for adding colour, contrast, and height to planted aquariums without needing an extremely demanding setup.
Supplied as a tissue culture, this plant arrives clean, pest-free, algae-free, and snail-free — making it ideal for aquascapers who want healthy plants without introducing unwanted hitchhikers into their aquarium.
Why it belongs in your tank
- Beautiful sunset colour – adds pink, orange, and green tones to planted aquariums
- Eye-catching leaf pattern – lighter veins create strong contrast and detail
- Great background to midground plant – ideal for adding height and colour behind hardscape
- Tissue culture quality – clean, sterile, and free from pests, algae, and snails
- Suitable for planted tanks – responds well to good lighting, fertiliser, and regular trimming
How to use it
Rinse off the tissue culture gel thoroughly, divide the plant into smaller portions, and plant each stem into the substrate using aquascaping tweezers. Leave a little space between each portion so the stems have room to grow and spread.
Hygrophila Rosanervig Sunset will show its best colour under good aquarium lighting with regular fertiliser. CO₂ is not essential, but it can improve growth, colour, and overall plant density. Trim regularly to keep it compact and replant healthy cuttings to create a fuller, more colourful display.
If you want an aquarium plant that brings warm colour and strong visual impact to your aquascape, Hygrophila Rosanervig Sunset is an excellent choice.
