Bumblebee Catfish (Pseudopimelodus apurensis)
The Bumblebee Catfish is a fascinating species known for its vibrant black and yellow coloration that resembles the pattern of a bumblebee. This small, bottom-dwelling catfish has a peaceful and shy temperament, making it ideal for community tanks with other non-aggressive fish. It prefers to hide in crevices and caves, so providing plenty of hiding spots is essential. Bumblebee Catfish are nocturnal and more active during the night, where they forage for food. They're also scavengers and will help clean up leftover food in the aquarium. Their striking appearance and peaceful nature make them a great addition to aquariums with appropriate tankmates.
