The Bumblebee Platy is a beautiful variety of platy recognised for its distinctive black-and-gold colour pattern, closely resembling the markings of a bumblebee. Each fish displays a unique combination of deep black, vibrant yellow, and subtle orange highlights, making them a colourful addition to any freshwater community aquarium.

Peaceful, active, and incredibly easy to care for, Bumblebee Platies are an excellent choice for beginners while remaining a favourite among experienced aquarists. They thrive in planted aquariums with open swimming space and appreciate the company of other peaceful fish. As livebearers, they may also breed readily in the home aquarium, providing plenty of interest for fishkeepers.
