Clown Loach (Chromobotia Macracanthus)

The Clown Loach is a highly active and social freshwater fish, well known for its vibrant orange body with bold black stripes and playful personality. This bottom-dwelling species thrives in groups and enjoys plenty of hiding spots, such as caves and driftwood. As it grows quite large, it requires a spacious aquarium with good water flow and soft substrate.

• Recommended For: Large community tanks

• Minimum Tank Size: 300 litres

• Temperature Range: 24-30°C

• pH Range: 6.0-7.5

• Recommended School Size: 5 or more

• Compatibility: Peaceful; best with other medium-to-large, non-aggressive fish

• Max Size: 30 cm

If you have any requests for gender/colour etc we will do our best to accommodate them. Please note we can not always accommodate every request due to high stock turnover and what is available at the time. We move all fish sold online into separate holding tanks while they wait to be shipped.
