An impressive angelfish variety with a tall body, elegant finnage, and distinctive wild-style appearance

The Dantum Angelfish is a striking selectively bred angelfish variety prized for its tall body shape, extended fins, and strong vertical barring. Its elegant profile gives it an Altum-like appearance while retaining the adaptability of domestically bred freshwater angelfish, making it a beautiful centrepiece for larger tropical aquariums.

Dantum Angelfish thrive in tall, well-maintained aquariums with warm water, gentle flow, plants, driftwood, and plenty of open swimming space. They are generally peaceful but can become territorial as they mature or form pairs, particularly during breeding.

Temperature Range: 25–29°C
pH Range: 6.0–7.5
Recommended School Size: 4–6 juveniles or an established pair
Compatibility: Generally peaceful; best with calm community fish and avoid very small or fin-nipping species
Max Size: Approximately 15 cm long and up to 25 cm tall including fins
