The Dragon Halfmoon Male Betta is a premium variety known for its heavy “dragon-scale” plating — thick, metallic white or silver scales layered over a rich base colour such as red, blue, or black. When flared, the classic halfmoon tail opens to a full 180-degree spread, creating a dramatic and commanding display.

This variety stands out in any setup thanks to its bold contrast and textured appearance. Ideal as a centrepiece for nano aquariums or minimalist displays, the Dragon Halfmoon thrives in warm, stable water with gentle flow. Like all male bettas, it is territorial and should be housed alone, with plenty of resting spots near the surface.
