Ideal for New Marine Aquariums
Bacto Blend provides a concentrated source of beneficial bacteria to help establish biological filtration when starting a new saltwater aquarium.
It can also be used as a treatment when an aquarium is experiencing excess organic waste, detritus accumulation or unstable nutrient levels.
Dosage
New Aquariums or Treatment Dosage
For the first three days:
Dose 10ml per 100 litres daily.
After the first three days:
Dose 5ml per 100 litres once per week.
Regular Maintenance Dosage
Dose 3ml per 100 litres once per week.
Aquariums more than two years old should initially receive no more than 30% of the recommended dosage.
For best results, Fauna Marin recommends using Bacto Blend alongside Fauna Marin Bacto Therapy.
