The Flame Tetra is a classic community fish admired for its fiery red to orange colouration that intensifies under quality lighting and in well-planted aquariums. Their shimmering body and contrasting darker finnage create a beautiful glowing effect as they school through the tank.

Peaceful and active, Flame Tetras thrive in groups where they display natural schooling behaviour and stronger colour. They are well suited to planted community aquariums with gentle flow, darker substrates, and open swimming space. Hardy and beginner-friendly, they are an excellent choice for adding colour and movement to tropical setups.
