The German Blue Ram is a dazzling dwarf cichlid beloved for its vivid electric blue body, yellow-gold highlights, and bold red eyes. This selectively bred variant of the Ram Cichlid is peaceful, intelligent, and full of personality. Ideal for aquarists seeking a colorful centerpiece in a smaller tank, these rams thrive in warm, soft, and well-maintained aquariums with lots of plants, smooth substrate, and gentle water flow. While peaceful, they can be a bit territorial during breeding, so tank mates should be chosen carefully.

• Minimum Tank Size: 60 litres

• Temperature Range: 26–30°C

• pH Range: 5.5–7.0

• Recommended School Size: Best kept singly or in bonded pairs

• Compatibility: Peaceful; avoid fin-nippers and overly active species
