The Gold Nugget Pleco is a highly sought-after Loricariid catfish known for its deep black body covered with brilliant gold spots and yellow-trimmed fins. Native to Brazil’s Rio Xingu, this pleco is a peaceful yet territorial bottom-dweller that thrives in spacious aquariums with smooth driftwood, caves, and strong water flow. It primarily feeds on algae and biofilm but benefits from a diet supplemented with sinking wafers and occasional vegetables.

All fish are shipped on Monday or Tuesday mornings via an overnight courier (Sometimes same day, location dependant). We use NZ Couriers for all livestock shipping, we find they handle your fish with the best possible care.
