The Jalo Reef Afra Mbuna is a stunning African cichlid known for its intense blue colouration highlighted by dark vertical bars and bright accents in the fins. Originating from the rocky shores of Lake Malawi, this variety is highly sought after for its striking contrast and constant activity.

Like other Mbuna, they are active, territorial, and best kept in rocky aquariums that mimic their natural habitat. Providing plenty of hiding spots helps reduce aggression and allows for natural behaviours to develop. Best suited to species-only or carefully planned African cichlid setups, the Jalo Reef Afra brings colour, movement, and attitude to any tank.
