Lampeye Killi (Pseudomugilidae)

The Lampeye Killi is a small, peaceful species known for its striking, glowing "lamp-like" eyes that give it its name. These fish have slender, translucent bodies with a hint of blue or silver, and the males tend to have slightly more vibrant colors, especially during courtship. They are calm and social creatures, thriving in schools, and are excellent for peaceful community tanks with similar-sized species. Lampeye Killis prefer well-planted aquariums with gentle water movement and can be kept in smaller setups due to their compact size.
