The Opaline Gourami is a beautiful variant of the Three Spot Gourami, characterized by its stunning opalescent, bluish-silver body with hints of orange and green. This species is known for its peaceful nature and graceful swimming, making it a popular choice for community aquariums. The Opaline Gourami is relatively hardy, tolerant of a range of water conditions, and enjoys well-planted tanks with calm waters. They can display some territorial behavior, particularly during breeding, but are generally peaceful towards other fish when kept in suitable conditions.
