The Philippine Blue Angelfish is a highly sought-after variety known for its soft blue iridescence layered over a silver base. Depending on lighting and mood, their colour can shift from subtle steel-blue to a more vibrant electric hue, giving them a premium, eye-catching look.

Graceful and laterally compressed, angelfish add height and elegance to planted aquariums. This variety stands out especially well against dark backgrounds and lush greenery. Generally peaceful, they can become territorial as they mature or during breeding, and may prey on very small fish. Best suited to well-planned community tanks or species-focused setups.
