Red Rainbowfish (Glossolepis incisus) A stunning centerpiece fish with brilliant red coloration and active schooling behavior, ideal for larger planted aquariums
The Red Rainbowfish, also known as the Salmon Red Rainbow, is a breathtaking freshwater species prized for its intense, shimmering red body and lively, fast-swimming nature. Native to Lake Sentani in Indonesia, males develop deep ruby-red colors as they mature, while females remain a softer silver. These fish are peaceful, hardy, and thrive in groups where they show their best color and natural schooling behavior. They do best in spacious, well-planted aquariums with open swimming space and stable water conditions.
