The Samurai Male Betta is one of the most sought-after betta varieties, prized for its thick metallic "dragon-scale" armour covering a deep black body. The striking contrast between the iridescent silver or white scales and dark base colour gives this betta a powerful, warrior-like appearance, living up to its Samurai name.

With its bold colours and confident personality, the Samurai Betta makes an exceptional centrepiece for nano aquariums and display tanks. Like all male bettas, it is territorial and should be housed alone. Warm, stable water, gentle filtration, and plenty of resting places near the surface will help keep this premium fish in top condition.
