The Similis Corydoras, sometimes called the Violet Cory or Smudge Spot Cory, is a small, peaceful bottom-dweller admired for its subtle beauty. It features a creamy to light tan body with fine dark spotting and a distinctive smudge-like blotch near the dorsal fin. Like most Corydoras, it thrives in groups and displays active, sociable behavior when kept with its own kind. Its gentle nature and small size make it ideal for community aquariums, especially those with soft substrates and plenty of hiding spots.
