The Snow White Cichlid is a selectively bred variant of the Yellow Lab (Labidochromis caeruleus), featuring a beautiful solid white body with a slight pearlescent sheen. Hardy and less aggressive than many Mbuna species, it’s a popular choice for Lake Malawi setups. This cichlid adds a striking contrast to colorful African cichlid tanks and thrives in rocky environments with plenty of hiding spots.

• Recommended For: African cichlid and Malawi biotope aquariums

• Minimum Tank Size: 150 litres

• Temperature Range: 24–28°C

• pH Range: 7.5–8.5

• Recommended School Size: Groups of 4 or more

• Compatibility: Semi-peaceful; suitable with other mild-mannered Malawi cichlids

• Max Size: 10–12 cm
