The Striata Loach, also known as the Zebra Loach, is a beautifully patterned freshwater species with striking horizontal stripes across its slender body. Active, peaceful, and full of personality, the Striata Loach is an excellent choice for community tanks. They are social fish that thrive when kept in small groups and are known for their helpful behavior in keeping the substrate clean by scavenging for food. With their charming antics and bold striping, they bring both movement and visual interest to planted or natural-style aquariums.

• Temperature Range: 24–28°C

• pH Range: 6.0–7.5

• Recommended School Size: 5 or more

• Compatibility: Peaceful; great with other small to medium-sized non-aggressive species
