The Sunshine Pleco, also known as L014, is a highly sought-after pleco species admired for its vibrant yellow to golden-orange body covered in contrasting dark spots. Native to Brazil’s Rio Xingu, this stunning bottom-dweller is both eye-catching and functional, helping to keep the aquarium clean. It thrives in spacious, well-oxygenated setups with hiding spots and smooth driftwood or rocks. While peaceful, it can be territorial with other plecos and requires a protein-rich diet.

• Recommended For: Large, peaceful community or pleco-specific tanks

• Minimum Tank Size: 300 litres

• Temperature Range: 26–30°C

• pH Range: 6.5–7.5

• Recommended School Size: Best kept singly or with non-competing bottom dwellers

If you have any requests for gender/colour etc we will do our best to accomodate them. Please note we can not always accomodate every request due to high stock turnover and what is available at the time. We move all fish sold online into seperate holding tanks while they wait to be shipped.

Good news! If you are a rural customer, we can still ship fish to you. Fish will be shipped to your nearest agent and they will call you when they arrive. Please ensure you provide your mobile number when ordering.
