Talbot’s Damselfish
The Talbot’s Damselfish (Chrysiptera talboti) is a small, hardy marine fish with beautiful pastel colouration. Its lilac-to-violet body, bright yellow face and distinctive dark spot near the rear of the dorsal fin create an eye-catching appearance without requiring a large aquarium.

Aquarium Requirements
Provide an established marine aquarium of at least 80 litres with plenty of rockwork, caves and sheltered areas. These hiding places allow the fish to establish a territory and retreat when startled.
Talbot’s Damselfish can be kept individually or in a small group when housed in a larger aquarium with enough space and rockwork. While generally peaceful, it may display minor territorial behaviour, particularly in smaller tanks or towards similar-looking fish.
Reef Compatibility
The Talbot’s Damselfish is considered reef safe and will not normally harm corals or ornamental invertebrates. Its compact size, active behaviour and colourful appearance make it an excellent addition to a peaceful community reef aquarium.
