Toxic Green Elegance Coral
The Toxic Green Elegance Coral is a stunning LPS coral that brings bold colour, flowing movement, and serious presence to a reef aquarium. Known for its large fleshy body and long waving tentacles, the Elegance Coral has been a centrepiece species in marine tanks for decades.
This variety displays intense green colouration that can glow beautifully under reef lighting, especially under blue or actinic light. Its long tentacles extend from a fleshy oral disc and sway naturally in the current, creating a soft, anemone-like movement that instantly draws attention in the aquarium.
Unlike many rock-mounted corals, Elegance Corals are best placed directly on the sandbed. Their V-shaped skeleton is naturally suited to sitting in soft substrate, where the coral can expand comfortably without rubbing against hard rockwork.
Toxic Green Elegance Corals prefer low to moderate lighting, with a PAR range of around 100–200 being ideal. Too much light can cause stress or tissue recession, so they should be introduced carefully and placed away from overly intense lighting. Low to moderate, indirect flow is best. The tentacles should sway gently, not be blasted or folded over by strong current.
While this coral gains much of its energy through photosynthesis, it can benefit from occasional target feeding with small meaty foods. Feeding should be controlled and not excessive, as stable water quality is more important than heavy feeding.

Elegance Corals can extend long and potent sweeper tentacles, so they need plenty of space from neighbouring corals. They can also be sensitive to sudden changes in water quality, so slow acclimation is recommended when introducing them to a new aquarium.
With its vibrant green colour, impressive size, and constant flowing movement, the Toxic Green Elegance Coral is a true showpiece coral for a stable reef tank. The specimen you receive will be a healthy coral of the same species, hand-picked for strong colour and quality similar to the one pictured.
