Yellow Phantom Tetra (Hyphessobrycon flammeus)

The Yellow Phantom Tetra is a beautiful and peaceful species of tetra that adds a splash of color to any freshwater aquarium. With its translucent body and golden-yellow hue, it shines in well-lit aquariums, particularly when kept in schools. The males typically display brighter colors, while females have a more subdued appearance. Yellow Phantom Tetras are great for peaceful community tanks and are best kept in groups, as they feel more secure and exhibit more natural schooling behavior. They do well in planted aquariums with soft, slightly acidic water.
